Trustees Meeting—There will be a Trustees meeting on January 29, 2012 at 12:15pm in the Conference Room.
Emeritus— On February 19th at 3:30pm we will be delivering Valentines, made by our children, to the residents at Emeritus. Please make plans to join in this service project.
Nursery updates Vinings UMC is growing! Beginning soon, we will have two small children’s rooms. One for newborns to 2 years old (nursery), which will be located next to the conference room. The toddler’s room (ages 2 years to 4 years old), will be located in the present nursery room. Starting dates TBA.
Coffee with the Pastors If you are new to Vinings UMC, you are invited to coffee with the pastors on Sunday January 29th immediately after church in Pastor Beth’s office. Coffee and light refreshments will be served. This is a time for you to ask questions about Vinings UMC in an informal setting and to inquire about Church membership.
District Training Event—Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Marietta First United Methodist Church. Registration begins at 2:00pm.
Workshops include: SPRC Training; Evangelism (Take it to the Streets); Missions (Going on a Volunteer Mission Trip); Leadership Development (Chairperson Boot camp); Stewardship/Finance (Nuts & Bolts of Stewardship); Vital Congregations (Goal Setting & Strategic Planning); and Nurture( Starting New Groups).

Faith In Action Sunday
Faith In Action Sunday will be March 11th at Campbell High School. We will be giving Campbell High School an extreme makeover in the name of Christ.
